Monday’s Toffee Bites: Big Sam’s job is not yet safe at Everton

How much credit or blame does a manager deserve? In reality, they are probably attributed too much of both, depending on if things are going well. Everton’s Sam Allardyce has to be feeling better than he has in quite a while. His team has won two matches in a row and STILL has a shot at finishing seventh in the Premier League, the same spot as last year, despite an incredibly tumultuous season. But things will now get tougher with matches against Manchester City and Liverpool. Taking points from those games could earn Big Sam the chance to stay at Everton through the summer, whereas embarrassing losses could see him gone sooner rather than later.
