Welp, the good feelings from Everton’s win over the weekend sure didn’t last long. Now, Gylfi Sigurdsson may have a serious knee injury. The loss of the remainder of his Everton season is not the tragedy. What matters first is his health as a person, how it affects him and his family. Beyond that, you have to feel for him regarding his World Cup dreams. As a 28-year-old from Iceland, this could be the only chance he gets on the world’s biggest stage. That could be gone now.
