Soccer players don’t lift much weight. This is an irrefutable fact supported by the video below and Everton’s players working out in Dubai last week. There’s a lot of bike riding, some resistance work, quite a few pull-ups and a tiny bit of free weight exercise. For some reason, this made me feel better about myself. I just choose to ignore that they can each probably run a mile in four minutes. But how many words can they type per minute? Hmm? Yeah, that’s what I thought. Take that, jocks!
