Sandro Ramirez should have been the steal of the summer. The forward made the move to Everton for what seems like a paltry £5.2 million in today’s inflated market. Instead, he wasted away on the bench week after week, if in the squad at all. Now, he’s back in La Liga and playing for Sevilla, where he seems more comfortable. It’s a shame that the Toffees never made the most of his talents, but if Sandro can put in a solid showing in Spain, then Everton could still make a profit on the attacker. So, at the end of the day, it can’t be viewed as a failed transfer.
