It was a pretty uneventful week of action for Everton’s out-on-loan contingent – save for an almighty mass brawl at the full-time whistle in Turkey…
Below we run through all the action.
The Youngsters
Henry Onyekuru
Onyekuru returned to the Galatasaray starting line-up following a short hamstring lay-off.
Playing against their bitter rivals Fenerbahce, the game ended 2-2 with three players sent off following a massive scuffle at full-time (which you can see below).
Gala went 2-0 up after 49 minutes, before being pegged back later in the second half. Onyekuru was brought off after 85 minutes but looked dangerous at times.
Antonee Robinson
Played the full 90 minutes at left-back as Wigan Athletic fell to a 2-1 defeat at home to high-flying Leeds United on Sunday.
Callum Connolly
Didn’t make the Wigan squad for the defeat to Leeds.
Nikola Vlasic
Relatively quiet weekend for Vlasic who played the full 90 minutes on the right wing in CSKA’s goalless draw at city rivals, Dinamo Moscow.
Joe Williams
Williams played the full 90 minutes in his favoured holding midfield role but couldn’t prevent Bolton Wanderers from falling to yet another defeat, this time by a 2-0 scoreline at Aston Villa.
Matthew Pennington
Ipswich Town were pegged back by 10-man Preston in a 1-1 draw, meaning they remain bottom of the table. Preston finished the match with an outfield player in goal, while Pennington putting in a solid performance at centre-half.
The Deadwood
Ashley Williams
Clean sheet for Williams as he played the full-game for Stoke City in their goalless draw at the Middlesbrough.
Cuco Martina
Watched Stoke’s goalless draw from the bench.
Luke Garbutt
Watched Oxford’s 3-3 thriller at Scunthorpe from the bench.
Shani Tarashaj
Injured…
Kevin Mirallas
Started on the right win for Fiorentina in their 1-1 draw with AS Roma. Was brought off after 53 minutes in what was a quiet performance.
Mo Besic
Put in a tidy performance as Middlesbrough recorded their fourth goalless draw of the season under Tony Pulis.
Yannick Bolasie
Another cameo from the bench for Bolasie as Aston Villa beat Bolton 2-0 on Friday.
Sandro Ramirez
Appeared from the bench for the final 20 minutes for Real Sociedad, and he had a massive chance to break the deadlock in their goalless draw with Sevilla.
Guess what happened next...
What a insane Golazo by Sandro .. must watch! pic.twitter.com/X2nY67FRvq
