We always knew once Farhad Moshiri bought the Royal Liver Building that this day was coming. Everton marked the beginning of this holiday season by lighting up the building in blue for the annual Blue Crimbo festivities. It was quite a sight to see the liver birds atop the building bathed in the cobalt glow, because often you see them on a red shirt worn by Liverpool. The timing is certainly perfect just ahead of the Merseyside Derby, and the Toffees are quite enjoying the apparent sh*thousery that’s afoot. The comments on social media are certainly hilarious.
