Blues otherwise quite healthy.

During Marco Silva’s pre-match press conference today, he revealed two new injury concerns for Everton, albeit slight. Both Phil Jagielka and Jonjoe Kenny will miss the match against Brighton tomorrow due to knocks picked up in training.

A small problem, nothing special, for Jags and Jonjoe.

It’s nothing special. They’ll be okay for training next week.

Otherwise, the Blues are as healthy as they’ve been all season. Yerry Mina and James McCarthy remain available for selection, although both face a fight to get into the team as currently constructed.

With Kurt Zouma unable to face his parent club Chelsea next week, there could be an opportunity tomorrow for Mina to get his first game time for Everton, but Marco Silva indicated that it could wait until the midweek match against Gor Mahia.

...Zouma won’t be able to play next week.

But our way to think is preparing the other players to play. Mina is ready to play if I make the decision.

It is the Brighton match, nothing more. We do not think about Chelsea. Our ambition and focus is on tomorrow’s match. The friendly match next week could be a good solution.
