Everton are away in the East Midlands this weekend to take on Leicester City after being eliminated from the Carabao Cup midweek by Southampton.
Speaking to the media ahead of the game, manager Marco Silva said that if all goes well he expects to have three more players available for selection for Crystal Palace. Two of those are new faces who are yet to feature in the royal blue - Andre Gomes and Yerry Mina, while the third is Seamus Coleman who started the season for the Toffees before picking up a knock away on international duty.
“They are doing well.
“Andre trained well this week and is progressing as we expected. They will be available for the Crystal Palace match after the break. Seamus Coleman too.”
Silva is planning a closed-doors friendly for the international break that starts after this weekend to get some playing time for his injured corps as well as some of the players on the fringes of the squad.
“They need minutes.
“We will possibly do something to give them minutes in the break.”
