It took two late goals from substitutes Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Cenk Tosun to take all three points for Everton as plucky Crystal Palace gave the hosts a difficult time today.
After an evenly-matched first half, the Blues exerted more pressure in the second period but it took a saved penalty from Jordan Pickford to spark Goodison Park into life. That and some inspired substitutions from manager Marco Silva that changed the game late on.
The Toffees are up to eighth in the Premier League table with their third win on the trot - with a tougher upcoming schedule including games at Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool in the next few weeks.
Silva will also be relieved to finally have his entire squad available to him for the first time this season with his full complement of transfers finally fully fit as well.
