Ever so often a news item hits that knocks us completely for a loop. There was one such piece late yesterday, as the Daily Mail reported that the Blues could be looking at Samir Nasri. The free agent is currently serving a doping suspension, but is available to start training next month. More on how he fits in at Everton here. [RBM]

Speaking of late yesterday, if you haven’t seen this already, the Toffees are apparently in conversation for a summer tour to the USA, for the first time since 2013! [RBM]

West Ham United have struggled at the leftback position, and could be in for Leighton Baines in January. [Football London]

There’s a full slate of Nations’ League games today, with Croatia vs England and Belgium vs Switzerland the pick of the ties.

Scotland’s Under-21s are away in Ukraine and Fraser Hornby will be looking to continue his hot goalscoring streak.
