Cenk Tosun Everton shirt number revealed

Not the most uncommon number for a striker

Everton have finally announced the signing of Turkish striker Cenk Tosun from Besiktas, and the forward will be wearing the #14 shirt for the rest of this season.

The number has been previously worn by multiple former Everton strikers, Steven Naismith, James McFadden, James Vaughan, Kevin Kilbane and Francis Jeffers to name a few. The most recent owners of the number have been Yannick Bolasie and Oumar Niasse before him.

Speaking at his signing, Tosun sounded excited by the challenge ahead as the Blues will look to continue their climb up the table while improving the quality of play as well.
