Finally, Everton’s fixture list has relaxed a bit and set up some matches that should provide a solid source of points over the next couple of weeks. On top of that, the Blue boys get back to the friendly confines of Goodison Park, which has been kind to them in recent years.
That said, Bournemouth should not be taken lightly. The Cherries have just one win in five league matches, but they are coming off back-to-back wins against Brighton and Hove Albion in the Prem and the Cup. So, they have found a bit of form against top flight opposition. Led by boyhood Blue Eddie Howe, Bournemouth will be looking to ruin Everton’s newfound happiness on the pitch.
Last year, the home team won both meetings between these sides. The Cherries won 1-0 in September and the Toffees took all the points in a 6-3 offensive battle in February. If recent memory is any indication, this will, at the very least, be an entertaining match.
