Everton today announced that midfielder Conor Grant has joined Crewe Alexandra on loan until January. The 22-year-old had gone on two half-season loan spells last season, with Ipswich and Doncaster Rovers playing in 31 games and scoring once with three assists.
The local-born youngster has featured once this season for David Unsworth’s Under-23 side, but will continue to build up his experience levels with the Railwaymen in League Two. Crewe sit in fourth place in the league and are undefeated in four games.

Grant has never featured for the senior side, but was in the squad for the Europa League game against FC Krasnodar back in December 2014. He has a two-year deal with the Toffees which expires at the end of the current season.
This is a good opportunity for the club to assess the player who has featured 58 times in all for the Under-23 side scoring six goals with four assists.
