There’s a number of Under-20 World Cup winners added to England’s first Under-21 squad call-up for the season, with six Everton players making the squad as well.
Of the five that won the summer competition - Jonjoe Kenny, Kieran Dowell, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Ademola Lookman and Callum Connolly - the first four were retained and Mason Holgate and Tom Davies have been added to that group.
The road to the next @UEFAUnder21 starts here.

The next international break comes at the end of this month, and for the youth side it’ll be the qualifiers for the European Under-21 championship to be held in the summer.
England travel to the Netherlands on Friday 1st September before hosting Latvia at Bournemouth’s Vitality Stadium on Monday 5th September.
The call-ups mean Everton will have quite a few players out on international duty during the upcoming break and while this always poses an injury risk, it’s also excellent exposure for the Toffees as they represent their nations.
