Everton will host Croatian side Hajduk Split in the first leg of the Europa League playoff round on Thursday, with the return leg to be played a week from tomorrow.
The Blues disposed of Slovaks MFK Ruzomberok in the previous round, winning both games 1-0. Hajduk had beaten Danish side Brondby 2-0 on aggregate as well, drawing 0-0 away and then winning at home.
Traveling to the Balkan region has always been an imposing affair, and Everton will be looking to win handsomely at home tomorrow to put the tie out of reach before making the trip to Split next week.
