Reported Everton target Demarai Gray could be on his way out of Leicester after holding talks about leaving the club.
Sky Sports News report that England U21 winger Gray held talks with Leicester officials on Monday afternoon about a possible transfer.
However, the Foxes are insistent that Gray, who is under long-term contract at the King Power Stadium, is not for sale.
Tottenham and Borussia Dortmund have also been linked with a move for the 21-year-old.
Gray, who scored twice for England at the European U21 Championships, is believed to be frustrated after making just nine Premier League starts last season.
Despite their busy summer to date Everton still look to lack a bit of pace in wide attacking areas and Gray would certainly fit the bill.
The Toffees were linked with a move for the young winger earlier this summer, with director of football Steve Walsh familiar with his talents.
Walsh was instrumental in signing Gray for Leicester from Birmingham for £3.7m in January 2016.
There have been conflicted reports regarding a possible release clause in Gray’s contract, with figures between £12m and £22m quoted.
Given some of the transfers we have seen this summer any deal worth less than £25m would be considered a bargain.
However, there is a long way to go before this unsubstantiated rumour develops into anything concrete.
