It feels like a big week ahead for Everton. The club is closer than ever to signing Gylfi Sigurdsson from Swansea City. And they have the second leg of their opening Europa League round later on. If all goes to plan, the Blues will be in a much stronger position come the weekend. As always, that is a mighty large “if”.
