Everton have signed a multi-year sponsorship deal with Blackwell Global, an international foreign exchange (FX) and contract for difference (CFD) brokerage firm.

Blackwell is a global financial service provider that specialises in online trading service since 2010, with offices in major financial cities including Cyprus, China, the United Kingdom, and New Zealand.

The club have never had a brokerage sponsor before, and Blackwell will look to promote itself at Goodison Park with hoardings and also offer Everton-related experiences to the club’s fans as well as its current clients.

Speaking after signing the deal, Head of Commercial at Everton Alan McTavish said -

“We’re delighted to welcome Blackwell Global to our growing family of commercial partners. Blackwell Global are the Club’s first Official Forex and Brokerage Partner and we are pleased to announce a partner in a new market sector category for the club. The partnership represents another positive development in our commercial strategy as we continue to grow.”

Michael Chai, Chairman of Blackwell Global Group -

“I’m immensely proud to partner with Everton Football Club in our first ever sporting partnership. It’s an honour to be working with a club recognised for their rich history and steadfast commitment and dedication to their worldwide fanbase. These are values we cherish and we look forward to a fruitful friendship in the coming years,”

The company even has a picture of Goodison Park on their homepage to reflect the new deal.

This is yet another example of the increased visibility that the club is seeing after Farhad Moshiri took over as majority shareholder in the company, having promised to bring the club out of the dark ages and bring in more sponsorship. In the time since the Iranian-born investor has come to the club, Everton has seen an influx of new sponsorships, including USM and SportPesa.
