Right on the heels of announcing the signing of Henry Onyekuru, Everton dropped the news today that the club’s new away kit will be unveiled on July 10th.

Everton’s 2016/17 away kit was generally well-received, albeit wildly underused. What clues can we take from the teaser video above?
- Just like paying homage to Dixie Dean with the new home threads, it looks like the Blues could be involving Prince Rupert’s tower in some way with this kit.
Any American Blue who comes to Liverpool must visit Prince Rupert's Tower! Iconic in the @Everton crest! Breathtaking views of Liverpool! pic.twitter.com/txD0KMvcP3

- Gray is the dominant color. Could we see something like this mockup?

- #TogetherBlue was the mantra for the home kit release, and involved players like Ross Barkley and Tom Davies, known for their Liverpool upbringing. Is there anything to be read into #TogetherInspired?
Whatever the kit looks like, Evertonians will hope it doesn’t look anything like the last kit that heavily involved the color grey...
Everton have teased their 2017/18 away kit and it looks to be white and gray. Which certainly brings back a few memories.... pic.twitter.com/Mm9ps6MibD

What do you think? Does the color scheme excite you, or do you prefer the classic royal blue?
