Nothing was officially announced on Wednesday, but Everton made significant progress on the signings of Sandro Ramirez and Michael Keane. Based on the latest information, both are expected to be Toffees by the end of the weekend.

Please, do whatever it is that you have to do to make it work! Pray, a rain dance, wear pajamas inside out. Anything that it takes! Evertonians need some Sandro and Keane in their lives. They deserve it!

On this day last year, the #1 song in both the United States and the United Kingdom was “One Dance” by Drake. Finding Dory was the top movie at the box office. Ronald Koeman was headed into his third week as Everton manager with Maarten Stekelenburg as his only expected senior signing, and Steve Walsh still nearly a month from joining the club. What a difference 365 days can make.
