Everton will host Stoke City at Goodison Park on the opening day of the Premier League season.

The Blues have then been handed a nightmare run of fixtures as they take on Manchester City, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United in their next four games.

Three of those will be away games as they travel to the Etihad, Stamford Bridge and Old Trafford. Only the game with Spurs is at Goodison Park.

For the first time in three years the first Merseyside derby of the campaign will be at Anfield, with that game pencilled in for the 12th of December, which will be a Tuesday.

In fact, that week could prove to be a very busy one for Everton should they reach the Group Stages of the Europa League with the final group matches for that competition scheduled on the seventh of December.

Another trip on Boxing Day beckons with West Bromwich Albion the opponents at the Hawthorns while New Years day will see the Blues host Jose Mourinho and United at Goodison Park.

The second Merseyside derby at Goodison Park is currently down for the seventh of April 2018 so could prove crucial in the late season run-in.

Just like last season Ronald Koeman and his men will find themselves travelling to London on the final day of the season as they’re set to face West Ham United at the Olympic Stadium.
