In what appears to be a retort to the almost-daily headlines featuring Everton striker Romelu Lukaku, the Belgian has hit out at the mainstream media with two tweets late on Sunday night.
Sky Sports say that his response was apparently directed at The S*n who are carrying a story today that Lukaku is having second thoughts about returning to Chelsea, and would instead welcome a transfer to Manchester United.
This claim seems bizarre considering Lukaku has said in the past that he feels he has unfinished business at Chelsea, and in addition, the manager who sold him from the Stamford Bridge club was Jose Mourinho who is now in charge at Old Trafford.
Some media these days are annoying man....

It is difficult for Everton fans to sympathize with Lukaku right now considering he has never been shy about making public statements in the past, especially during international breaks when various members of his coterie including his family have spoken out against Everton and belittled the club’s humble aspirations.
His latest stand remains that he will not sign a new contract at Everton but has also not said anything about what club he would like to join at the end of the season. With two years left on his current deal, the leverage remains with Everton who can choose to sell him to the highest bidder or not at all over the summer transfer window.
