AC Milan forward M’Baye Niang, who was loaned out to Watford for the second half of the just-concluded season, has said that he does not want to return to the Premier League next season.

Having endured a tough time with the Hornets, the 22-year-old is looking to go back to Serie A to further his career. He scored twice and picked up two assists in sixteen appearances for Watford between January and May.

The Frenchman’s name was linked with Everton earlier this week following the news that he would not be making his loan deal with Watford permanent, with multiple sources close to the player expressing that he was not keen to stay in England.

Transfer news insider Gianluca Di Marzio reported that the move was now unlikely after his agent contacted his parent club Milan to clarify that Niang did not wish to play in the Premier League next season.

Milan and Everton are yet to finalize on another forward Gerard Deulofeu, who spent this last season on loan to the Rossoneri, with Barcelona holding the rights to first refusal on any deal that the Blues might want to make.
