In a ceremony attended by club captain Phil Jagielka and Idrissa Gana Gueye yesterday evening, Everton revealed their 2017-18 home kits. Also present was winger Yannick Bolasie who is recovering from a knee operation.
The kit is made by Umbro and features new shirt sponsor SportPesa, who replace Chang as of this year after signing a five-year deal earlier this week.

The new shirt marks a return to the diamond pattern down the sleeves, a classic Umbro trademark. In a tribute to local legend Dixie Dean, his likeness is also shown on the back of the jersey above the player name and number.

There were various kit leaks ahead of the official reveal last night, with the black colour block in the underarm and the plain text SportPesa logo correctly predicted by the fans.
Even though there were various elements of Everton’s history embedded in the kit design, overall fan opinion seems to be negative regarding the new shirt.
Club executive Robert Elstone had previously said during the club’s General Meeting that the kits would have a sleeve sponsor as well, but no information regarding that was announced last night.
