Seamus Coleman. James McCarthy. Morgan Schneiderlin.
You can now add Ramiro Funes Mori to the list of Everton’s walking wounded, as the defender picked up what appears to be a knee injury during Argentina’s World Cup Qualifying match against Bolivia today.

Funes Mori’s status for Saturday against Liverpool is as of yet unclear. It’s likely that Phil Jagielka would have continued in his starting role, but either way, the Argentinian could have played a big part for Ronald Koeman, which now seems doubtful.
The Blues may have considered playing three center-backs to account for the loss of Coleman, but without Funes Mori, that likely becomes untenable, too.
It isn’t just Everton suffering from international break injuries, either (as much as it may seem that way). Players like Thibaut Courtois and Adam Lallana have also picked up knocks in the past week. If this continues, will FIFA act regarding international game scheduling? Lets hope so.
