Whether or not Romelu Lukaku chooses to leave Everton this summer, striker Cyle Larin has a lot in common with the Belgian forward and could be worth a look at for the Blues when the transfer market opens.

Larin plies his trade for American team Orlando City SC in the MLS, and has been prolific in the last couple of season in front of goal. The Canadian national has strength, speed, and technical ability -- none in overwhelming amounts, but enough of each that he can beat defenders in a wide variety of ways.

Lukaku and Larin are similar physical monsters, faster than you'd think, a little of both feet, a little in the air.

The Orlando forward has 35 goals and 5 assists in 63 games for the Lions, after being selected first in the 2015 MLS SuperDraft. It’s also worth noting that while he has had a ton of success in MLS so far, he did so with Kaka as his primary playmaker. How would he adjust to the Premier League from that.

It is going to be nearly impossible to find a direct replacement for Lukaku. However, if he does choose to leave, the Blues might look at replacing him with a couple of players sharing his minutes.
