The Liverpool Echo are reporting that Everton are exploring the possibility of playing a pre-season friendly in Tanzania as part of a new shirt sponsorship deal.
Sportpesa, based in Kenya, is expected to replace Chang on Everton’s shirts from next season as part of a £75m sponsorship deal that also includes USM’s sponsorship of Finch Farm.
The deal represents a significant upgrade on the the current three-year deal agreed with long-term partners Chang in 2014, worth around £16m.
Everton are also considering sleeve sponsors from next season following a relaxation of Premier League rules.

Everton’s head of football operations Dave Harrison and Dave Lewis, the club’s head of security and stadium safety, travelled to Tanzania on a fact-finding mission.
The game would likely take place at the Tanzania Main National Stadium, in the country’s largest city of Dar es Salaam, and form part of Ronald Koeman’s preparations for the 2017-18 season.
