While Robbie Keane is not officially retired, he is no longer attached to a club, which has meant that Everton’s talismanic right back Seamus Coleman is likely now Ireland’s most well-known and popular player. Indeed, Coleman recently assumed the captaincy for his national side, and is the first name on Martin O’Neill’s team sheet.

To celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, EA Sports’ popular FIFA Mobile game is implementing a week-long event emphasizing players who make their teams in green tick. Given Coleman’s popularity and Ireland’s green kits, he was chosen as the event’s “master player”, the highest rated card available for the week at 97 overall.

He can be obtained via a certain set of parameters, grinding, and perhaps a little of your hard earned cash.

EA Sports’ console version, FIFA 17, has also released a special “Green Team” set of cards that include Coleman, James McCarthy, and Aiden McGeady.

FIFA Mobile can be downloaded from an app store near you, and is largely free to play, despite there being some in-app purchases available. Be sure to check out our sister site FUT Nation, which covers all things FIFA and includes several handy guides to get you started in the mobile game.
