Rumours about Ronald Koeman possibly moving to Barcelona at the end of this season surfaced this week after the agent of Frank de Boer said that Koeman was on the shortlist of managers to take over at the Nou Camp after Luis Enrique’s contract expires in summer.
Koeman was asked about the talk during his Everton press conference ahead of this weekend’s trip to Middlesbrough.

The Dutchman appeared to be slightly irritated with the line of questioning, even though he kept his wry smile intact throughout.
Question: Frank de Boer’s agent has said you are on the list, is this news to you?
“He is no longer my manager (de Boer’s agent).”
Question: So he doesn’t know the situation?
“I don’t know.”
Question: What do you make of this..
“Nothing.”
Question: ..constant link to Barcelona?
“Nothing.
“I will always be related to Barcelona. It happened in the past, and it will happen again the future.”
So there you have it. He doesn’t really comment directly on the question, but looks like it’s not really something he wants to talk about.
