Everton vs Bournemouth: Injury Report

Everton host AFC Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon with no new injury concerns to worry about. The Blues came through unscathed from a difficult away game at Stoke City midweek.

With Idrissa Gueye back from the Africa Cup of Nations, Ronald Koeman will likely bring him back into the starting eleven. It’ll be interesting to see if the Dutchman will go for the same 3-5-2 again, or if watching Marko Arnautovic finding huge gaps behind Mason Holgate will weigh on him.

Muhamed Besic is a couple of weeks away from resuming training after a six month layoff from an ACL tear, while Dominic Calvert-Lewin is still on track to return at the end of the month.

For Everton fan Eddie Howe, his choices in midfield were hampered with the season-ending injury to Callum Wilson. He’ll also be missing left back Charlie Daniels who is still recovering from a hamstring issue.

Bournemouth are injury free besides that, but saw Marc Wilson and Lewis Grabban leave the club in the January transfer window.

18-year-old goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale is likely to be in the squad after being signed from Sheffield United, something that will irk Everton because the Blues tried to sign the player but were turned down by the Blades before they accepted the Cherries offer.
