The players will participate in their first session of the trip on Tuesday morning. Included in the traveling party are youngsters Jonjoe Kenny, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Mateusz Hewelt and Matty Pennington, as well as Muhamed Besic who is continuing his recovery from knee surgery six months ago.
Manager Ronald Koeman spoke about the getaway after Saturday’s draw away at Middlesbrough.
“We will train every day and play a friendly on Friday. It’s a chance to stay together, have good communication and keep up the momentum of the season. It’s all about aiming to finish strongly in the league.”
