With Everton appearing to be closer and closer to signing Turkish striker Cenk Tosun from Besiktas, videos of the player’s skills and goalscoring prowess have been in high demand.
Here is a great supercut of all his goals for Besiktas in the Turkish League (the Super Lig) and the Champions League, over the last few years. He has 63 in all for the Black Eagles, but this collection highlights just the 42 in those two competitions.
Tosun was reportedly at Finch Farm yesterday accompanied by his father and his agent to complete the medical and do the paperwork. He is expected to make the move on January 1st when the transfer window opens, as reported by the Guardian.
His first name Cenk, pronounced Dzjenk, means ‘battle’ while his last name Tosun means ‘young bull’ in Turkish, with both names quite descriptive of his playing style.

- 4.5 year deal
- Does not require work permit as he was born in Germany
- Most expensive player to leave #Beşiktaş
- Most expensive Turkish international to leave Super Lig overtaking Cengiz Ünder
The forward has shown an eye for goal over the last few years, and with his work rate and finishing ability, this could represent a significant, high-risk high-reward move for the Blues.
