Get in! Everton finally won, and they won big. The three points vaults them up to 13th place in the Premier League. Another win at the weekend against Huddersfield Town could launch the Toffees into ninth in the table. If that happens, all will seem right with the world once again.
However, that is a big “if”. Make no mistake, this is still a relegation battle. The Blues need to keep racking up points and a suddenly struggling Huddersfield are vulnerable opposition. This is Big Sam’s team now (groan). Let’s see what the man can do.
