Everton vs Lyon: Europa League start time, lineups, TV schedule, live stream and how to watch online

The Blues desperately need to get three points to keep their hopes of advancing alive.

Despite Everton’s struggles thus far in the Europa League, they still find themselves well within striking distance of the knockout round. The Blues enter matchday in last place in Group E with just one point from two matches. But no one is running away from the pack. Atalanta is top of the group with four points while Apollon Limassol and Lyon are tied with two points apiece in the middle of the table. A win for Everton in this one would be huge.

It has been a bit of a disappointing start to the Ligue 1 campaign for Lyon. They currently find themselves in sixth place domestically. But it’s not because they miss new Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette. OL has the third best attack in France behind Paris St Germain and Monaco. Instead, it is defense that has been the problem. The 15 goals allowed by Lyon in nine matches are tied for the fourth-worst record in the French top flight.
