Sheffield United’s highly-rated young goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale is looking likely to sign for AFC Bournemouth. The Blades had rejected an offer from Everton yesterday for the player to join the Blues Under 23 side. The amount of the offer was not disclosed.
The 18-year-old has featured for the England Under 19 side, and played in both of Sheffield United’s FA Cup games this season despite not yet starting a League game for the Blades.
It’s now looking like the Cherries have stolen a march on the Toffees before Everton could make another bid on the goalie.

The Blues loaned out their Under-23 goalie Russell Griffiths to Motherwell in the January transfer window, and have been looking to restock the cupboard at the youth level.
Mateusz Hewelt and Connor Hunt are the only two goalkeepers at the Under-23 level for Everton, with Aaron Jones, Ben Pierce and Ciaran O’Loughlin sharing duties at the Under-18 level.
