Everton were mostly poor in this game, getting overrun by a determined Bournemouth that belied their lowly standing in the Premier League table.

The home side took a deserved lead in the first half after the Toffees’ scourge from last season Junior Stanislas. The Blues simply did not look like their early season self, conceding possession in dangerous areas.

Eddie Howe’s 4-5-1 formation overran the midfield pivot of Gareth Barry and Idrissa Gueye and Ronald Koeman’s saw his team continue the miserable form from the Norwich City game midweek. Barry had passed a late fitness test on ankle issue to start, but looked hobbled for most of the hour he was on the field. Even Gueye looked terrible on the day, losing the ball and committing unnecessary fouls.

Vote in the poll below for how you think the Everton players did today against Bournemouth.
