The latest version of the widely popular EA Sports football game is released on the 27th of September, but the Everton player ratings from FIFA 17 have already been released.

The ratings are mostly as expected, with the team’s disappointing last couple of seasons reflected in the player scores. Everton’s top player was Romelu Lukaku, who has an overall score of 84.

The entire backline is highly rated, with defenders Leighton Baines and Ashley Williams are at 83, and the pair of Phil Jagielka and Seamus Coleman at 82.

Four players have 81 - Kevin Mirallas, James McCarthy, Ross Barkley and Gerard Deulofeu. Rounding off the players scoring 80 and above is Gareth Barry with 80.

Youngsters Connor McCaleny, Kieran Dowell and Mason Holgate are ranked low with 65 while Tyias Browning is at 67 and Tom Davies with 58. One gets the feeling some of the players, especially Holgate, will make a big jump by the time next year’s ranking is done.
