Before Everton signed Yannick Bolasie we had heard rumours that he was close friends with Romelu Lukaku. Since the winger has come onboard, we’ve been seeing plenty of the pair, usually celebrating together which is cause for fans to celebrate too.
After a comprehensive 3-1 win over Middlesbrough on Saturday, Lukaku pulled a prank on Bolasie who was taking a nap in the passenger seat while the striker was driving him home.
‘Keba’ means ‘look out’ in Lingala, a widespread Central African language that both Lukaku and Bolasie are fluent in.
The pair have been taking digs at each other on Twitter too, especially after Everton’s third goal on Saturday. The ball was crossed in by Bolasie and it looked like Lukaku got the faintest of touches on it, and then vocally claimed the goal too.
Bolasie is yet to score his first goal for the Toffees, but you can bet Lukaku would love to be involved in the build-up when he finally does.
And who cares if the song isn’t original, it’s still one of the catchiest chants we have right now!
