Owner Farhad Moshiri, who came under some fire after the Blues shambolic deadline day dealings (or lack thereof) has come out and expressed his pleasure as to how Ronald Koeman and the side have started the Premier League season.
"I am very encouraged by the strong start we have made to the season which is our equal best since the start of the Premier League.
"Whilst there is a long season ahead, the players have adapted very well under the leadership of our new manager Ronald Koeman and we look forward to maintaining our momentum and a successful season."
With Moshiri being a man of few words, it is good for the fans to hear an official statement from him, especially in the light of some of his comments made to Sky Sports reporter Jim White around the deadline day.
