From the moment the Premier League schedule came out this summer, it was very clear that Everton needed to take advantage of playing largely inferior opponents for the first two months of the campaign.
After a somewhat tumultuous off-season, there was some doubt that the Toffees would be able to do so, both among Everton supporters at large and among our staff at RBM. But, we've seen confidence spike among our writers.
Last week, each of our writers picked an Everton victory and Ronald Koeman's side came through for us. Those picks were as follows:
