Everton’s newest signing Yannick Bolasie has been assigned ‘14’ as his squad number.

The 14 jersey for Everton has had a bit of chequered past in the last few years. The last player to have worn it was considered one of the biggest flops in the club’s history - Oumar Niasse. Before that, it was fan favorite Steven Naismith who glorified the shirt.

Among other previous players to have worn the number are James McFadden, James Vaughan, Kevin Kilbane, Idan Tal, Francis Jeffers, David Weir, Tony Grant and John Ebbrell.
