Everton have confirmed that striker Conor McAleny has joined League 1 side Wigan on loan until the end of the season in what looks to be the Toffees' final activity of the January transfer window.
The 23-year-old has made just three senior appearances for the Toffees since graduating from the club's academy in 2011. In that time he has been on four separate loan spells to Scunthorpe, Brentford, Cardiff and most recently Charlton.
Thanks for the messages people. Made up to of signed for @LaticsOfficial until the end of the season! Can't wait to get started!

The striker returned to Merseyside in November and will now head to Roberto Martinez's former club Wigan in a loan deal that was announced just a few hours before the January transfer window closed.
With first-team action limited at Goodison Park McAleny will look to use this loan spell to impress potential suitors between now and the end of the season. His contract still has 18 months to run but it seems likely Everton will accept a nominal fee for his services should a club come in for him in the summer.
