Hello and welcome to our transfer deadline day open thread. January deadline days have traditionally been quiet ones for Everton but I have a sneaking suspicion this one might be a bit busier.
We will do our best to keep you updated with what is going on throughout the day, both with the Toffees and the wider football world.
But what will Roberto Martinez's side do? Well here are some rumours that may develop into something:
Oumar Niasse
Everton have reportedly had a bid in the region of £13.5m accepted for the Lokomotiv Moscow striker who is now discussing personal terms over a switch to Goodison.
Aiden McGeady
The much-maligned winger is almost certainly to leave on loan at some point today with Sheffield Wednesday leading the chase.
Andrei Yarmolenko
Or the new Juan Roman Riquelme as he seems to rapidly be becoming. Everton have been linked with the Ukraine midfielder again this window but a move seems very unlikely given Dynamo Kiev's continued involvement in the Champions League.
New owners?
It has been over a month since news broke of an American consortium led by John Jay Moores and Charles Noell being given exclusivity on the club's accounts. There has been feverish speculation about the status of any takeover, with some rumours on Twitter claiming it had collapsed while others insisted things were progressing. Will we say anything concrete on deadline day?
