James McCarthy will be out for at least two-three weeks, per Everton manager Ronald Koeman. His hamstring injury picked up during the first half of the Merseyside Derby will keep him out of the squad, and not for the first time this season either.
Starting goalie Maarten Stekelenburg also left that game with an injury after Leighton Baines collided with him. The Dutchman faces a late fitness test, as does the left back despite Baines finishing the game last week.
Club captain Phil Jagielka is eligible for selection again. He missed the last game after being sent off late in the win over Arsenal at Goodison Park.
Hosts Leicester City are facing their own suspension issues, with star striker Jamie Vardy, and defenders Robert Huth and Christian Fuchs sidelined for disciplinary reasons.
Midfielder Danny Drinkwater is training again after recovering from a previous injury, and could be in the matchday squad for the Foxes.
