Everton’s shirt sponsor Chang have donated the proceedings from one game’s sponsorship to ‘When You Wish Upon A Star’, and as a result, the Toffee’s third strip against Leicester City on Boxing Day will feature the charity ’s logo instead.
From the Everton site -
The charity aims to grant the wishes of children with life threatening or terminal illness, making their dreams come true and helping to provide happy and precious memories for the entire family.
Chang is also supporting the charity’s Christmas single ‘My Christmas Dream is You’ by Carly Paoli with all the proceeds raised from downloads being donated to the wish granting children’s charity.
Donations made from the charity single will ensure ‘When You Wish Upon A Star’ can continue to provide magical experiences such as visiting Disneyland or Harry Potter World, calling in to see Santa Claus in Lapland or scoring a goal in front of the Gwladys Street.
Here’s a quick mock-up of what the Everton uniforms could look like on Monday at Leicester.
