According to Bild, Bundesliga leaders RB Leipzig are interested in a move for Everton youngster David Henen.

The striker is yet to make a first-team appearance for the Blues and was linked with a departure earlier in the season.

Reports at the time suggested clubs in France were keen on his signature but now it appears there is interest from Germany.

According to Bild, RB Leipzig are keen admirers and consider the striker as a giant talent.

The club is targeting youngsters for the future, evidenced by their move for Nottingham Forest’s Oliver Burke this summer, and sporting director Ralf Rangnick has reportedly already made contact over Henen.

The newspaper also reports that the striker is currently not getting game time at Everton as manager Ronald Koeman had doubts over his physical robustness.

However, they do not cite whether Everton would be willing to let Henen go at this moment in time.

It seems unlikely they would be given the manner in which they have been stung by youngsters leaving the club and developing into top talent elsewhere in recent years.
