Everton begin their FA Cup campaign with a first ever meeting against League Two side Dagenham & Redbridge in the third round at Goodison Park.

With the Daggers struggling in the league the tie should be relatively straight forward, though the there usually at least one side that falls victim to a giant-killing at this stage of the competition so the Toffees will still have to approach this tie professionally.

Last year Everton drew 1-1 at home to West Ham at the third round stage before losing on penalties in the reply after the game at Upton finished 2-2 after extra-time.

The match has not been selected for live coverage by any of the main broadcasters, and the sheer amount of FA Cup games means coverage of the game will be more limited than normal. Our usual Twitter and gamethreads will be running though so make sure you join us from 15:00 UK time.
