Everton go in to their Capital One Cup semi-final with a few injury problems, but also a possible returnee.
First up, the bad news is that Muhamed Besic and Kevin Mirallas are both definitely out after coming off early against Swansea City on the weekend. The former has suffered a hamstring problem similar to that which kept him out earlier in the campaign, while the latter has injured a tendon near his right knee.
However, the absence of Besic may be counteracted by the return of James McCarthy, who has signalled that he is keen to make up for the Bosnian's absence. He will have a lot to live up to after his teammate's recent form.
Meanwhile, long-term absentees Tyias Browning and Tony Hibbert continue to be unavailable.
For Manchester City it is much the same as the last leg. They are still missing inspirational captain Vincent Kompany, which will give hope to Romelu Lukaku and co.
However, Sergio Aguero is now fully fit, and his goals against West Ham and Crystal Palace mean that we will have to defend far better than anything that was seen on Saturday to have any chance of making it to the final.
Samir Nasri, Eliaquim Mangala, Aleksandar Kolarov, and Wilfried Bony are ruled out of the clash, but the depth of City's squad means this shouldn't make a huge difference to them on the pitch.
