Everton Speaking to Teams About Aiden McGeady

Potential teams include those still in FA Cup and trying to loan him.

It looks like Aiden McGeady is headed out of town and perhaps to someone still in the FA Cup. Manager Roberto Martinez confirmed McGeady has received loan offers for the Irish midfielder and if he had played on Saturday he would have become cup-tied.

Since there are still plenty of teams left even after today in the FA Cup it doesn't really narrow it down, but since McGeady is unlikely to see his wages met in the Scottish Premier League we have seen his former team Celtic fall off the list of potential bidders.

Rumors have included Middlesborough and Derby County as two teams that have expressed interest in McGeady and possibly even Darren Gibson as well. McGeady has not played a game in the league this season and is now unlikely to see one in Everton Blue before the transfer window ends. Unfortunately it also looks like Everton will still be paying some if not most of his salary and sending him out on loan.

That is one in the column of signings that has not worked out for Martinez, but wasn't a big loss at the £1.4 million fee he cost in 2014.
