Ashley Williams looked like he was yelling at Romelu Lukaku late in the game to make make better decisions with the ball, and keep the pressure off the defence. Well, Rom wasn't having any of it and told him to keep quiet. Oh boy.

This is completely unnecessary on the part of Romelu Lukaku. Ashley Williams was trying to keep the ball out of the net - had Lukaku put it in the net from any one of the half dozen chances he had, it wouldn't have even mattered.

Kevin Mirallas had an excellent game for Everton today, setting up the first goal and then scoring with this cracking finish into the far corner to put the Blues up by two against City.

New signing Ademola Lookman scored with basically his first touch of Premier League football, slotting home through Claudio Bravo's legs to finish off the game 4-0 for Everton.

Everton youngster Tom Davies scored his first goal for the Toffees senior team, and what a memorable goal it was too! A deft flick to beat two men, and then a nifty chip over a sliding defender and onrushing goalkeeper. The Blues went on to beat City 4-0!
